1. The Anti-Trauma Legacy (跌打傳承)

Rooted in the Liu Min (Vagabond) and martial history of Southern China, Liuren Fajiao developed a highly effective system of Trauma Medicine (跌打 — Diē Dǎ). The Die Da tradition integrates classical TCM trauma care and the ritual Zhu You (祝由) tradition, recognizing that severe physical trauma always has a spiritual component that, if unaddressed, impedes the physical body's recovery.

2. Three Categories of Physical Trauma (三類外傷)

CategoryChineseNaturePrimary Spiritual ConcernRitual Priority
Impact Trauma外傷撞擊Falls, blunt force, vehicle accidents, workplace injuriesSpirit Scatter (魂散) — soul fragments dispersing from the shockAnti-Shock Sealing first (Fengshen); then hemostasis and physical healing support
Heat / Burn Trauma熱傷燒傷Burns (fire, chemical, electrical); severe fever; heat strokeYang excess disrupting the body's Yin-Yang balanceSnow Mountain cooling talisman immediately deployed to the burn site; Fa Water consumed
Obstruction Trauma異物阻塞Foreign bodies lodged in the body — most classically fish bones in the throatThe foreign object creates a localized Qi blockage that the body's own healing systems cannot resolveBone Dissolution (化骨法) incantation + Snow Mountain cooling to relax the surrounding tissue

3. Four Core Healing Methods (四種療癒法)

Method 1: Hemostasis (止血法) — The Hemostasis technique uses projected ritual energy to stop bleeding at its energetic source. The Hemostasis Flower Character, drawn over the wound, creates an energetic "tourniquet."

Method 2: Bone Dissolution (化骨法) — Uses Snow Mountain cooling energy to soften and relax the tissue surrounding a lodged foreign object. The incantation is spoken directly over Fa Water, which the patient then swallows slowly.

Method 3: Anti-Shock Sealing (防驚封身) — After severe physical trauma, the spirit can partially scatter (魂散). Anti-Shock Sealing performs Fengshen over the trauma patient to call the scattered spirit fragments back.

Method 4: Fright Sha Clearing (驚煞清除) — Fright Sha (驚煞) is the accumulated negative Qi that settles in the body after a traumatic experience. The Snow Mountain dissolution combined with the Peace Talisman (Section 7) clears the accumulated Sha.
