This module covers the Ten Gods (Shi Shen), which translate elemental interactions into human relationships, and the medical mappings used for health diagnosis.
The Derivation Framework — How Ten Gods Are Born
The Ten Gods (十神) are mathematically derived through a two-step process: Five Element Relationship + Yin/Yang Polarity.

- Direct Wealth (正財): Same-polarity wealth element. Stable income, discipline.
- Indirect Wealth (偏財): Opposite-polarity wealth element. Windfalls, business expansion.
- Food God (食神): Same-polarity output element. Creativity, contentment, health.
- Hurting Officer (傷官): Opposite-polarity output element. Intelligence, rebellion, artistic talent.
- Direct Seal (正印): Same-polarity resource element. Academic learning, mother, compassion.
- Indirect Seal / Rob Seal (偏印): Opposite-polarity resource element. Esoteric knowledge, isolation.
- Friend / Rob Wealth (比肩/劫財): Same/opposite polarity companion. Peers, competition, sharing.
Medical BaZi Mappings
Each of the Five Elements governs specific organ systems. Analysis of weaknesses in the chart provides a constitutional health profile:
- Wood (木): Liver, gallbladder, eyes, tendons, nervous system.
- Fire (火): Heart, small intestine, blood vessels, tongue, complexion.
- Earth (土): Spleen, stomach, muscles, mouth, lymphatic system.
- Metal (金): Lungs, large intestine, skin, nose, respiratory system.
