The Nature of 六壬法教

六壬法教 is fundamentally different from divination systems like 大六壬 (Da Liu Ren) or academic subjects that can be self-taught. It is a magical transmission lineage (法脉), not merely a body of knowledge.

E. Ethical Practice (行善積德 - Xingshan Jide)

• "Doing Good and Accumulating Merit": Lives by and teaches this core principle
• Refuses harmful requests: Will not perform magic to harm innocent people
• Emphasizes spiritual cultivation: Teaches that magic requires moral foundation
• Service-oriented: Uses their abilities to help communities, not just profit

Why this is fraudulent: Liuren Fajiao requires energetic transmission that cannot occur through digital media. The Guojiao (过教) ceremony must be performed in person with proper ritual setup.

B. Excessive Financial Demands Upfront

• Demands large sums (thousands of dollars) before any teaching
• Requires payment for "exclusive secret knowledge"
• Sells "pre-blessed talismans" at exorbitant prices without explanation
• No transparency about fee structure

Reality check: Traditional masters may charge reasonable fees for time, materials, and ceremonies, but these should be explained clearly upfront. Many masters work on donation or reasonable fee basis. Beware of excessive commercialization.

C. Pressure Tactics or Urgency

• "This special initiation is only available this week"
• "You must decide now or lose this opportunity forever"
• "Only 3 spots left in my secret inner circle"
• Uses fear-mongering: "You're cursed and need my help immediately"

Why this is manipulative: Authentic masters understand spiritual development takes time. They want students who are genuinely committed, not impulsively pressured into initiation.

D. Cannot Demonstrate Lineage

• Vague or inconsistent answers about their master
• Claims to be "self-initiated" or "received transmission in dreams"
• Cannot name grandmaster or trace lineage back more than one generation
• Gets defensive or angry when asked about lineage verification

Critical point: Legitimate practitioners are proud of their lineage and happy to discuss it. Evasiveness about lineage is a major red flag.

E. Promises Unrealistic Powers

• "Guaranteed to win lottery after initiation"
• "You'll be able to control anyone's mind"
• "Instant mastery - no practice required"
• "I can make you invulnerable to all harm"
• "My magic is 100% effective, never fails"

Reality: Authentic Liuren practice requires cultivation, ethical conduct, and consistent practice. Magic is a tool that works within natural and spiritual laws, not supernatural omnipotence. Honest teachers acknowledge limitations.

F. Violates Ethical Principles

• Willing to perform harmful magic without ethical consideration
• Encourages revenge, manipulation, or control of others
• No emphasis on "行善積德" (doing good and accumulating merit)
• Uses magic for personal profit at others' expense
• Has history of scandals, affairs, or criminal activity

Warning: The tradition teaches that misuse of spiritual power brings karmic consequences. A teacher who disregards ethics will lead students to spiritual harm.
