Xuan Kong Liu Fa 玄空六法
Xuan Kong Liu Fa (玄空六法) — the Six Methods school — was developed by Tan Yang Wu (談養吾) in the early twentieth century. Its core six methods are the technical concepts 玄空、雌雄、金龍、挨星、城門、太歲. Two Cycles Eight Periods, Ling/Zheng Shen, the 32-mountain grid, and Six Family Members are supporting structures around that core rather than replacements for it.

Six Methods 六法
玄空法 · Xuan Kong Method
Establish the period frame and time-space qi structure before any field judgment is made.
雌雄法 · Ci-Xiong Method
Match yin-yang counterparts in sitting, facing, mountain, and water so polarity is not mixed.
金龍法 · Golden Dragon Method
Verify whether the current prosperous qi is activated and whether the ruling dragon is truly moving.
挨星法 · Ai Xing Method
Trace the star sequence to judge qi arrival, departure, and settlement across the luopan frame.
城門法 · Castle Gate Method
Use a workable gate or water mouth adjoining the active sector so qi can be admitted correctly.
太歲法 · Tai Sui Method
Check annual timing constraints so a correct layout is not broken by offending the Grand Duke.
Supporting Frameworks 輔助框架
Two Cycles Eight Periods 兩元八運
Primary timing model of XKLF. Period 5 is omitted; periods 1–4 belong to the Upper Yuan and 6–9 to the Lower Yuan.
Ling / Zheng Shen 零正神
Used to distinguish where mountain support and water activation should be placed in the active period.
32-Mountain Grid 三十二山
A supporting refinement layer for directional study. It is not itself the definition of the Six Methods.
Six Family Members 六親
A secondary relational lens in some lineages for mountain reading, not the primary taxonomy of 六法.
