Hong Fan Water Method 洪範水法
Hong Fan (洪範) Water Method derives from the Hong Fan chapter of the Book of Documents (尚書·洪範) and applies the twelve-stage life cycle (十二長生) to determine the quality of water positions relative to the sitting mountain. Each direction corresponds to one of the twelve stages, classifying the energetic quality of incoming and outgoing water flows according to the five-element productive and destructive cycles.
