Xiao Liu Ren (小六壬), the "Small Liu Ren," is a rapid oracle method using six stations (六宮) that cycle through the lunar month, day, and hour. The six stations — Da An (大安), Liu Lian (留連), Su Xi (速喜), Chi Kou (赤口), Xiao Ji (小吉), and Kong Wang (空亡) — each carry specific oracle meanings for different life situations.

The calculation proceeds in three steps: the Month station is determined by the lunar month; the Day station advances from the Month station by the number of lunar days; the Hour station advances from the Day station by the hour index (0–11 for 子–亥). The Hour station is the oracle answer.

起卦三步驟：月宮由農曆月份定起，日宮從月宮起步數農曆日， 時宮從日宮起步數時支序號（0–11對應子–亥）。時宮即為占卦答案。
