Tongshu — Chinese Almanac Calendar
The Tongshu (通書), also known as the Chinese almanac, is a classical system for evaluating the auspiciousness of each day. Each day receives a quality rating based on the Officer (建除 十二神), the 28 Lunar Mansions (二十八宿), solar terms (節氣), and special warnings such as Sui Po (歲破) and Yue Po (月破).
Within the Liuren Fajiao lineage, the Tongshu guides ritual scheduling — selecting auspicious days for ceremonies, Altar consecration, healing work, and other Fa activities. Each hour (時辰) of the day is also scored for more precise timing.

通書又稱皇曆或老黃曆，是評估每日吉凶的傳統曆法體系。 每日吉凶依建除十二神、二十八宿、節氣及歲破、月破等特殊警示綜合評定。
在六壬法教傳承中，通書用於安排法事科儀時間，包括法壇開光、 驅邪治病及其他法術活動的擇日工作。 每日時辰亦可細化評估，以求更精確的儀式時機。
