Biography & Significance
Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is the founder of Ligmincha International and one of the most prominent teachers of the Bön tradition in the West. Born in Amdo, Tibet, and raised in India, he received extensive training at Menri Monastery under H.H. Menri Trizin, the supreme head of the Bön tradition. He holds the Geshe degree (equivalent to a PhD in Buddhist philosophy) from Menri Monastery and has taught internationally since the 1990s. His books — Wonders of the Natural Mind (Dzogchen), Tibetan Sound Healing, Healing with Form, Energy and Light — have brought Bön practices to a global audience. He specialises in Tibetan Dream Yoga, Sound Healing, Tsa Lung (energy channel practices), and the Bön Dzogchen of the Zhang Zhung Nyan Gyud.
