Fa Water Consecration (Nam Montr)

法水加持 (泰式)

Ritual Demonstration 儀式示範

Theory: Water as a Conduit

In Thai Wicha, water is the primary conduit for spiritual vibration. Unlike the 'consumed' Fa Water of Liuren, Nam Montr is often sprinkled over practitioners, used to wash sacred objects, or placed at thresholds to ward off spirits.

Consecration Steps

  1. Preparation: Use a clean brass or ceramic bowl. Place a candle at the edge.
  2. Invocation: Invite the Triple Gem and the 108 Ruesi.
  3. Kata Chanting: Recite the Sappa Idtipiso or the specifically chosen Wicha mantra.
  4. Candle Drip: As the Kata reaches its peak, allow the candle wax to drip into the water, symbolizing the descent of solar fire into the lunar water.
