Origins of the Iron Plate
Legend attributes the creation of Tieban Shenshu to the Song Dynasty master Shao Yong (邵雍), the author of the Huangji Jingshi. However, the system as practiced today emerged during the Qing Dynasty, when it was refined into the 'Iron Plate' — implying its predictions are as unchangeable as iron.
