Xuan Kong Flying Stars (玄空飛星)
Xuan Kong Flying Stars is the time-space dimension of Feng Shui. A property is not static — its Qi changes with time as the nine stars rotate through the Lo Shu grid in 20-year periods. The current Period 9 (2024–2043) is governed by the number 9 — Li Fire (離火), associated with fame, recognition, intelligence, and the feminine. Four Major Chart Structures
- Wang Shan Wang Xiang (旺山旺向): Facing star and Sitting star are both in their timely positions. Best structure — both people and wealth are supported.
- Shang Shan Xia Shui (上山下水): Stars are reversed — Sitting star in the facing direction. Wealth good, people poor. Property loses inhabitants over time.
- Shui Xing Chu Bi (水星出煞): Reverse structure. People good, wealth poor.
- Shuang Xing He Xiang (雙星會向): Both Sitting and Facing stars converge at the facing. With real water in front, both wealth and people thrive. Without water, disaster.
Period 9 (2024–2043) Application
In Period 9, Star 9 (Fire) is the reigning prosperity star. Stars 1 (Water) represents future prosperity. The combination 9-1 or 1-9 in the facing sector with real water activation is highly auspicious for the current period. Star 5 Yellow remains the most dangerous and requires constant metal remedies.
