Ceremonies & Rituals

儀式與法事

Mastery Requires Transmission

These rituals should be learned directly from a qualified teacher. True spiritual efficacy requires the Guojiao initiation to activate the connection.

Altar Installation (安壇)

Installing Lineage Master (安師公)

Creates a direct spiritual interface with the Liuren Immortal Master. The altar must be in a clean, elevated position.

  • The Tablet: Inscribed with "Liuren Xianshi" and the Shisanlang.
  • Daily Maintenance: Clean water, fresh tea, and incense offerings.

Installing Earth God (安地主)

Establishes harmony with local land spirits (Datuk Gong / Tu Di Gong). Essential for house protection and local stability.

The Guojiao Ceremony (過教)

The formal initiation ceremony. Following the "Attain First, Cultivate Later" philosophy, this rite provides the energetic transfer (Guo Jue) necessary for practice.

  1. Petitioning (填神表文): Registering the disciple in the celestial bureaucracy.
  2. Sealing (封身): Imprinting protective Flower Characters on the body.
  3. Transmitting Mantra (過訣): Receiving the oral "trigger" mantra for the specific level.
  4. Consuming Fa Water (吃法水): Internalizing the lineage power through ritual substance.

The Imperial Sealed Thirteen Guardians (玉封十三郎)

The Thirteen Guardians form the celestial bureaucracy that "staffs" the Liuren altar. They are led by Liuren Xianshi and include specialized figures for exorcism, healing, and protection.

Guardian GroupOperational Function
Copper Skin & Iron BonePhysical protection and "Iron Plate" resilience.
Hutan (Altar-Protecting)Security of the ritual space and communications.
Commanders (Thunder & Five Arts)Task execution, exorcism, and medical healing.
Intelligence (Eyes & Ears)Spiritual diagnosis and reconnaissance.

Operational Protocols (法事程序)

1. Fengshen (安神 - Consecration)

The ritual of "Installing the Divine." It involves inviting the spirit of the deity or guardian to reside within a physical vessel (statue or tablet).

2. Kai Tan & Shou Tan (開壇 / 收壇)

The Opening and Closing of the Altar. These protocols establish the "Sacred Time" and "Sacred Space" necessary for any complex ritual work.
