Judgment
卦辭
豐：亨。王假之，勿憂，宜日中。
Abundance has success. The king attains abundance. Be not sad. Be like the sun at midday.

象傳
象曰：雷電皆至，豐；君子以折獄致刑。
Thunder and lightning come: the image of Abundance. Thus the superior man decides lawsuits and carries out punishments.
Interpretation
詮釋
豐卦象徵豐盛與繁榮。雷電並作，光明盛大。當盛之時應公正執法，但也要知盛極必衰。
Abundance and prosperity. Thunder and lightning together, brilliance great. At peak should enforce justice fairly, but know extreme prosperity leads to decline.

Nine at the beginning
初九
遇其配主，雖旬無咎，往有尚。
When a man meets his destined ruler, they can be together ten days, and it is not a mistake. Going meets with recognition.
遇到與自己相配的主人，相處十日無咎，前往有嘉尚。志同道合，共創豐盛。
Meeting matched master, staying ten days no blame, going brings honor. Like-minded, creating abundance together.
Six in the second place
六二
豐其蔀，日中見斗，往得疑疾，有孚發若，吉。
The curtain is of such fullness that the polestars can be seen at noon. Through going one meets with mistrust and hate. If one rouses him through truth, good fortune comes.
遮蔽豐厚，日中見北斗，前往遭疑忌，有誠信發揚則吉。雖受阻但以誠相待可化解。
Curtain thick, seeing stars at noon, going meets suspicion, with sincerity expressing brings fortune. Though obstructed but treating sincerely can resolve.
Nine in the third place
九三
豐其沛，日中見沫，折其右肱，無咎。
The underbrush is of such abundance that the small stars can be seen at noon. He breaks his right arm. No blame.
遮蔽更厚，日中見小星，折斷右臂，無咎。豐盛過度反受傷，但知進退無咎。
Curtain thicker, seeing small stars at noon, breaking right arm, no blame. Excessive abundance causes harm, but knowing when to act brings no blame.
Nine in the fourth place
九四
豐其蔀，日中見斗，遇其夷主，吉。
The curtain is of such fullness that the polestars can be seen at noon. He meets his ruler, who is of like mind. Good fortune.
遮蔽豐厚，日中見斗，遇到同等的主人，吉。得遇知音，共享豐盛。
Curtain thick, seeing stars at noon, meeting equal master, fortune. Finding kindred spirit, sharing abundance.
Six in the fifth place
六五
來章，有慶譽，吉。
Lines are coming. He has honor and praise. Good fortune.
有文彩來臨，有慶賀聲譽，吉。居尊位得中正，德業彰顯。
Brilliance comes, having celebration and honor, fortune. In high position attaining balance, virtue and achievement manifest.
Six at the top
上六
豐其屋，蔀其家，闚其戶，闃其無人，三歲不覿，凶。
His house is in a state of abundance. He screens off his family. He spies through the gate and no longer perceives anyone. For three years he sees nothing. Misfortune.
房屋豐盛，遮蔽其家，窺視門戶，闃然無人，三年不見人，凶。豐極而驕，孤立自閉必凶。
House abundant, screening family, spying through gate, silent no one, three years seeing no one, misfortune. Extreme abundance breeds arrogance, isolation brings disaster.
