屯:元,亨,利,貞,勿用,有攸往,利建侯。
Difficulty at the Beginning works supreme success, furthering through perseverance.

象曰:雲雷屯,君子以經綸。
Clouds and thunder: the image of Difficulty at the Beginning. Thus the superior man brings order out of confusion.
Interpretation
詮釋
屯卦象徵草木初生,突破地面的艱難。雖然充滿困難,但蘊含生命力。需要耐心和紮根。
Initial obstacles in new growth. While difficult, it contains great vitality. Requires patience and establishing a firm foundation.

Nine at the beginning
初九
磐桓,利居貞,利建侯。
Hesitation and hindrance. It furthers one to remain persevering. It furthers one to appoint helpers.
徘徊猶豫不前。宜守正待時,建立基礎與團隊。
Hesitating and unable to proceed. Best to remain correct and wait, while building foundations and gathering support.
Six in the second place
六二
屯如邅如,乘馬班如。匪寇婚媾,女子貞不字,十年乃字。
Difficulties pile up. Horse and wagon pull apart. He is not a robber but would woo at the right time. The maiden is chaste, she does not pledge herself. Ten years—then she pledges herself.
困難重重,進退兩難。看似威脅實為良緣,堅守貞潔終得圓滿。
Difficulties accumulate, caught between advance and retreat. What seems threatening is actually good fortune. Maintain integrity and fulfillment will come.
Six in the third place
六三
即鹿無虞,惟入於林中,君子幾不如舍,往吝。
Whoever hunts deer without the forester only loses his way in the forest. The superior man understands the signs of the time and prefers to desist. Going brings humiliation.
追鹿無嚮導,必迷失於林中。明智者知難而退,強行前往只會招致困窘。
Chasing deer without a guide leads to getting lost. The wise know when to withdraw. Pressing forward brings embarrassment.
Six in the fourth place
六四
乘馬班如,求婚媾,往吉,無不利。
Horse and wagon pull apart. Strive for union. To go brings good fortune. Everything acts to further.
雖有困難,但主動求助結盟則吉。前進有利無害。
Despite difficulties, actively seeking help and alliance brings fortune. Moving forward is favorable.
Nine in the fifth place
九五
屯其膏,小貞吉,大貞凶。
Difficulties in blessing. A little perseverance brings good fortune. Great perseverance brings misfortune.
恩澤受阻難以施展。小事堅持為吉,大事冒進則凶。
Grace is blocked and cannot be distributed. Persevering in small matters brings fortune, but in great matters brings misfortune.
Six at the top
上六
乘馬班如,泣血漣如。
Horse and wagon pull apart. Bloody tears flow.
進退維谷,極度悲傷。困難已至極點,應等待轉機。
Caught in a dilemma, extremely sorrowful. Difficulty has reached its peak. Wait for things to turn around.
