Core Concepts

This application allows you to overlay a digital Feng Shui compass (Luopan) on a map or a floor plan to perform analysis.

Main Controls

• Address/Coordinates: Enter a location to center the map. You can use a street address or latitude/longitude coordinates (e.g., 40.7128, -74.0060 ).
• Magnetic Declination: This adjusts the compass for the difference between true north and magnetic north. You can fetch it automatically for the current map location or enter it manually.
• Floorplan Upload: Upload a floor plan image (PNG, JPG) to analyze an indoor space.

Builder Tab

The Builder tab is where you can customize the Luopan by adding, removing, and reordering rings.

• Use the checkboxes to toggle rings on or off.
• Click the pencil icon (✎) to edit a ring's properties (where available).
• Drag and drop active rings to change their order on the Luopan.

Interacting with the Luopan

• Move: Click and drag the Luopan to move it.
• Rotate: Right-click and drag to rotate the Luopan.
• Zoom: Use the mouse wheel while hovering over the Luopan to zoom in and out.
