In Liuren Fajiao, the Ritual Fan (法扇 - Fa Shan) is a tool of Direction and Dissolution . While the sword (Section 75) is for "Severing," the fan is for "Wafting" and "Cooling." 2. Functional Ritual Dynamics

The Fa-Fan acts as a "Broad-Spectrum Distributor," allowing the practitioner to affect large areas or multiple people simultaneously.

Consecration: Like all implements, it must be ritually **"Opened" (Kai Guang)** to synchronize its pulse with the Altar.
Ba Wu Jin Ji: The fan is particularly useful for the modern practitioner as it is a discreet, non-threatening implement that can be used in public gatherings without drawing undue alarm.

The Ritual Fan embodies Stability . We use the fan to return the "Hot" environment of secular desires and anger back to the "Cool" state of a righteous heart. It is the tool of the peacemaker within the lineage, ensuring that the Altar's presence is a source of relief for the community.

Technical Tip:

When using the fan to clear a space, always "Fan" toward the nearest Door or Window . Visualize the stagnant Qi as gray smoke being swept out by a clean light. Finish by "Sealing" the exit with the Zong Jue to ensure the Sha does not drift back in. The fan provides the "Movement," while the incantation provides the "Lock."
