Section 14 covers the Incense Methods (插香法) . In Liuren, inserting incense is a precise ritual protocol. The hand used (Dragon/Left vs. Tiger/Right) and the pattern of insertion communicate specific intents to the altar spirits.

Dragon and Tiger Protocols

Left Hand (Dragon): Used for standard petitions, blessings, and communication with the Higher Masters.
Right Hand (Tiger): Used for clearing, command, and communicating with military or protective aspects.

Diagnosis (法科診斷)

Reading the burning pattern of the 3 sticks to diagnose a case (Chá Shì). "Holy Incense" burns evenly and brightly. "Disaster Incense" (Zai Nan Xiang) may crackle, burn unevenly, or extinguish, indicating a serious spiritual obstacle or rejected case.
