🏛️ Major Naadi Lineages (Schools)
While sharing a common core, Naadi is transmitted through distinct lineages with different focuses:
1. Shiva Naadi (The Divine Dialogue)
Presented as a dialogue between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. It is considered the most spiritual lineage, focusing on the soul's evolution and divine will.
2. Agastya Naadi (The Holistic Path)
Attributed to Sage Agastya, the father of Tamil astrology. This is the most practical and widely practiced school, offering comprehensive life guidance and specific remedies.
3. Kousika Naadi (Timing Specialist)
Attributed to Sage Vishwamitra (Kousika). This school is renowned for its extreme accuracy in predictive timelines and professional milestones.
4. Bhrigu Naadi (Planetary Logic)
Common in North India (Bhrigu Samhita) and the South (Bhrigu Nandi Nadi). It uses planetary significators (Karakas) rather than palm-leaf identification.
🔑 The Thumbprint Indexing System (Rekha)
The "Key" to locating a soul's record is the thumbprint (Right for men, Left for women). Naadi science classifies human thumbprints into 108 primary categories.
The 108 Symbols (Rekhas)
Patterns are categorized by symbolic shapes and the number of Bindus (Dots) within them:
- Shanku Rekha: The Conch (Auspicious Loop)
- Chakra Rekha: The Discus (Whorl)
- Gopura Rekha: Temple Tower (Arch)
- Padma Rekha: The Lotus
- Matsya Rekha: The Fish
- Trishula Rekha: The Trident
- Khadga Rekha: The Sword
- Dhanus Rekha: The Bow
- Vattam Rekha: The Circle
Note: A "Shanku" print with 1 dot is a different library category than a "Shanku" with 3 dots.
⚖️ Pariharams: The Technology of Transformation
Like the Liuren tradition, Naadi is interventionist. It assumes that while the past is fixed, the future can be "unlocked" through specific spiritual actions.
Karmic Neutralization
Pariharams are precise "antidotes" to negative Karma identified in Kandam 13. This may include feeding the poor, visiting specific energy nodes (Temples), or performing specialized rites.
Talismanic Science
In Kandam 14 (Deeksha), the leaf may prescribe a specific Raksha (Talisman) or Yantra to be etched on copper or gold to shield the seeker from further harm.
