六壬法教

阴阳逆顺妙难穷，
二至还乡一九宫。

"The mysteries of Yin-Yang's reverse and forward are wondrously unfathomable,
At the two solstices, return home to the First or Ninth Palace."

神龙负图出洛水，
彩凤衔书碧云里。
因命风后演成文，
遁甲奇门从此始。

"Divine dragon bore diagram from Luo River,
Colored phoenix carried book in azure clouds.
Thus commanded Fenghou to elaborate into text,
Dunjia Qimen began from this."

奇与门兮共太阴，
三般难得总加临。
若还得二亦为吉，
举措行藏必遂心。

"Wonder and Gate together with Taiyin,
All three together are rarely obtained.
If obtain even two, also auspicious,
Actions and concealment will surely fulfill heart's desire."

五不遇时龙不精，
号为日月损光明。
时干来克日干上，
甲日须知时忌庚。

"Five Not Meetings, dragon lacks spirit,
Called sun and moon damaged in brightness.
Hour Stem comes to conquer Day Stem above,
On Jia day, must know hour avoids Geng."

天地人分三遁名，
天遁月精华盖临。
地遁日精紫云蔽，
人遁当知是太阴。

"Heaven, Earth, Human divide three escape names,
Heaven Escape: moon essence, magnificent canopy arrives.
Earth Escape: sun essence, purple cloud shields.
Human Escape: know it is Taiyin."

庚为太白丙荧惑，
庚丙相加谁会得。
六庚加丙白入荧，
六丙加庚荧入白。

"Geng is Venus, Bing is Mars,
Geng-Bing mutually add, who understands?
Six Geng add Bing: white enters flame,
Six Bing add Geng: flame enters white."

天三门兮地四户，
问君此法如何处。
太冲小吉与从魁，
此是天门私出路。

"Heaven three gates and earth four doors,
Ask you how this method applies.
Taichong, Xiaoji, and Congkui,
These are heaven's gates, private exit routes."

六仪击刑三奇墓，
此时举动可惮惧。

"Six Yi strike-punishment, Three Wonders tomb,
At this time actions can cause fear and dread."

天盘随时辰变，
地盘五日一动，
借此断吉凶。

"Heaven Plate changes with hour,
Earth Plate moves every five days,
Using these to determine auspicious and inauspicious."

九遁与门配合威力大。

"Nine Escapes matched with gates have great power."

景上投书并破阵，
惊能擒讼有声名。
若问死门何所主，
只宜吊死与行刑。

"View Gate: submit memorials and break battle formations,
Alarm Gate: can capture lawsuits, has reputation.
If ask what Death Gate masters,
Only suitable for hanging death and executions."

太白入荧贼即来，
荧入太白贼即去。

"Venus enters Mars, bandits immediately come,
Mars enters Venus, bandits immediately leave."

丙为悖兮庚为格，
格则不通悖乱逆。
庚加日干为伏干，
日干加庚飞干格。

"Bing is rebellion, Geng is obstruction,
Obstruction then not penetrating, rebellion chaotic reverse.
Geng adds Day Stem is Subdued Stem,
Day Stem adds Geng is Flying Stem obstruction."

考学日干为考生，
值符主考评卷人。
月干副考统计员，
天辅则为监考官。

"Examination: Day Stem is examinee,
Value-Sign chief examiner grading person.
Month Stem deputy examiner statistician,
Tianfu is proctor official."

欲测游人可安康，
依据游人所去方。
与其六亲之冲克，
观察休囚或旺相。

"To predict traveler's safety and health,
Based on traveler's direction of going.
With six relatives' clash-conquest,
Observe rest-imprisoned or prosper-strength."

乘车出行测安危，
景门临宫主路轨。
伤门便是车和马，
白入荧宫遭劫贼。
惊门途中车马伤，
休门陷入水沼泽。

"Vehicle travel predict safety danger,
View Gate at palace masters road tracks.
Injury Gate is vehicle and horse,
White enters flame palace meets robbery bandits.
Alarm Gate mid-journey vehicle horse injury,
Rest Gate sinks into water marsh."

求取功名占前程，
日干便是求运人。
文职用神在开门，
武官杜门为用神。
门生日干主升迁，
门克日干则无成。

"Seeking merit and fame divine prospects,
Day Stem is person seeking fortune.
Civil post spirit at Open Gate,
Military official Du Gate is spirit.
Gate generates Day Stem: promotion,
Gate conquers Day Stem: no success."

年月日时要核准，
地点方位应确实。
结合时干向位法，
欲测之事便得知。

"Year month day hour must verify correctly,
Location direction should be accurate.
Combine Hour Stem direction method,
Desired prediction matter then known."
