The Dragon Gate Eight Formations (Long Men Ba Ju)
Qian Kun Guo Bao (乾坤国宝) , also known as Long Men Ba Ju (Dragon Gate Eight Formations) , is the premier "San Yuan" system for analyzing external water flows. Unlike Flying Stars which deals with internal Qi, this system diagnoses the external environment to determine if a property can receive Wealth (Water) and support People (Mountain).

The system relies on the relationship between the Sitting Mountain (Zuoshan) and the Incoming/Outgoing Water . Everything is derived from the superimposition of the Early Heaven (Xian Tian) and Later Heaven (Hou Tian) Ba Gua.
Governs: People, Health, Male Descendants (Ding).
Rule: Water must COME IN (Lai Shui). If water flows out, it is called "Xian Tian Po" (Broken Early Heaven), leading to loss of offspring or health.
Governs: Wealth, Wife, Prosperity (Cai).
Rule: Water must COME IN (Lai Shui). If water flows out, it is called "Hou Tian Po" (Broken Later Heaven), leading to bankruptcy or poverty.
Nature: A fierce, attacking force.
Rule: Water must GO OUT (Qu Shui). Incoming water here brings disaster, illness, and lawsuits.
Nature: A punishing, legal force.
Rule: Water must GO OUT . Incoming water brings conflict and injury.
To find the positions, you must know the Prior Heaven position of your Sitting Trigram.
Beyond the primary four positions, the master looks at the secondary wealth and the specific "Killings" lines.
Bin (Guest): Benefits female descendants and sons-in-law.
Ke (Visitor): Benefits tenants or adoptive children.
These are secondary wealth spots. While not as critical as the Host (Zhu) water, they ensure the prosperity of the extended clan.
The "Eight Killings" (Ba Yao Sha) are specific points where incoming water causes immediate disaster.
Example: Sitting Kan (North) must NEVER see water coming from the Dragon (Chen/SE) direction.
View Full Yao Sha Table →What if the natural environment is "Broken" (e.g., Water incoming from Tian Jie)? Master Shen Chaohe teaches the "Anti-Anti-Formation" (Fan Fan Ju) . By artificially altering the **Water Exit** or tilting the **Door Angle** (changing the Sitting Reference), one can "flip" the chart, turning a Calamity flow into a Guest flow or neutralizing it completely.
Scenario: A luxury villa in the "Peach Blossom Garden" estate. The owner suffered financial loss.
Diagnosis: The layout had a "Difference of One Line" (Fen Jin). The main water exit was draining the Hou Tian (Wealth) sector.
Solution: Master Shen used the Fan Fan Ju technique. He tilted the main door angle by 3 degrees. This shifted the "Sitting" trigram reference just enough to redefine the Water Exit sector from "Wealth" to "Tian Jie" (Calamity). Draining the Calamity sector is auspicious. Wealth recovered within 6 months.
Observation: During his 2025 Elite Course in Singapore, Master Shen analyzed the city-state's water dragon.
Analysis: Singapore's prosperity is linked to its master plan of reservoirs (Marina Bay). The incoming water from the Straits acts as Hou Tian water for the central business district (Sitting North/NW), while the controlled exits ensure the Qi is retained in the "Treasury Pool" (Ku Chi).
