Introduction / 引言

In Mian Xiang (面相), or Chinese Face Reading, one of the most fundamental and comprehensive analytical tools is the "12 Palaces" (十二宮位 - Shí Èr Gōng Wèi). This system divides the face into twelve distinct areas, each corresponding to a specific aspect of a person's life, character, and destiny. By observing the characteristics of each palace—such as its prominence, color, texture, fullness, and any markings or lines—a skilled physiognomist can gain profound insights into an individual's past, present, and future fortunes.
